When I began my wedding photography business in 2016, I made it my mission, as a Black woman in a not-so-diverse industry, to beautifully showcase love stories that aren't often seen in this space. It is my pride and joy that I get to do that as my career day in and day out. Below you will find a list compiled of wonderful black-owned wedding vendors in Chicago whose works inspire me, and I would personally consider hiring them for my own wedding festivities. Admittedly this list is short and by no means comprehensive list, but this list is made with love and intention, and I plan on updating this list often and look forward to adding more vendors to the list.
